Vermont Youth Cycling, established in 2019 as a race series for young riders, with a mission to provide access to safe, fun, interscholastic group rides and races. Vermont Youth Cycling (VTYC) educates and empowers young riders to improve their skills and well-being while building a sense of stewardship for the land, the trails and a deeper connection to the communities they live in.

For the 2021 season, coaches Sean and Brooke Curran took the team to a new level and succeeded in placing many riders on the podium. The season included 12 youth racers participating in four race series around the state, including one race hosted in Randolph at the Ellis Lot Trail Network. Students raced throughout four categories (Grade 5&6, Categories A, B & C). Forty team rides were held throughout the season around Randolph and Rochester, including field trips to other trail networks. Our coaches and team look forward with great anticipation to next year’s race season.
